About AMEF
The Aboriginal Media Education Fund is a non-profit charitable organization approved as of May 9, 2005 by both the Canada Revenue Agency and Industry Canada.

The mandate of the AMEF is to:
“Encourage, promote and make possible the development of an Aboriginal pool of film, television and broadcast professionals, and create opportunities for original programming and professional development, which will be recognized nationally and internationally”.
